About Me

I am a retired software engineer from Silicon Valley (Los Gatos, CA to be precise). I retired to Roseburg to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city environment. I have always been a collector and listener of vinyls and over the years have accumulated thousands of albums. I sell some on eBay and have recently opened my own brick and mortar store in downtown Roseburg.

I am a USAF veteran, former member of the Roseburg City Council representing Ward 2, a Master Gardener, eBay Power and Top Rated Seller, member of the US Selective Service Commission, former Red Cross certified First Responder and Technician class Ham Radio Operator. I have a BA in Political Science and a Masters Degree in Computer Science - both from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA.

I have three dogs: 2 chihuahuas (Watson and Holmes), a cockapoo (Eddy). I also have a fresh-water 55 gallon aquarium, a koi pond and diabetes. I am an avid sports fan and follow the NY Yankees, NY Giants (Football), NY Rangers and NY Mets. My college favorites are the Stanford Cardinal men and women basketball teams.

I have 9 raised beds in which I grow various types of squash, tomatoes and lettuce. I also grow eggplants, beans, peas, asparagus, strawberries, onions and brussell sprouts. I am currently redesigning my front yard to be more environmentally friendly and drought resistant.
